"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it."
I am Yaw Han Toon, a Communist, Marxist, and humanitarian activist from Myanmar. My life is dedicated to the struggle for social justice, workers' rights, and human dignity.
Fighting for democracy and human rights in Myanmar since the 2021 coup
Using music as a tool for revolution and social change

Proud father of my beloved daughter - my precious cat
The path of resistance since the 2021 military coup in Myanmar
February 1st, 2021 - The military coup that changed everything. I joined the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) and took to the streets. The revolution had begun.
Organizing mutual aid networks, supporting displaced communities, and building solidarity among workers and the oppressed. Humanitarian work became revolutionary praxis.
Expanding Food Not Bombs activities - sharing free vegan meals with those in need. Fighting hunger while fighting the system. Every meal is an act of resistance.
Using music as a weapon of consciousness. Playing revolutionary songs, spreading the message of liberation through art. The revolution will be harmonized.
Building international solidarity, connecting with comrades worldwide, and continuing the fight for a free Myanmar. The revolution is not an event, it is a process.
Organizing free food distribution to homeless and hungry people. Fighting poverty through direct action and mutual aid.
Humanitarian work that embodies human dignity. Supporting displaced people, refugees, and those affected by the conflict.
Building class consciousness, organizing workers, and spreading Marxist theory for revolutionary change.
Creating and performing music that inspires resistance, documents the struggle, and builds solidarity.
"Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it." — Bertolt Brecht
My music is a weapon against oppression. Every chord is a protest, every lyric a call to action. Through revolutionary songs, I aim to inspire, educate, and mobilize.
In the midst of revolution and struggle, she brings joy and peace. A revolutionary needs moments of softness. My precious cat daughter reminds me what we fight for - a world where all beings can live in comfort and love.
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." — Anatole France
